Encounter Church Kentwood

DCI partnered with the Encounter Church Kentwood team to bring new life to a once-outdated athletic club—transforming it into a modern, welcoming worship center for the Kentwood community.

What was previously home to basketball courts and a pool has been completely reimagined. The project began with strategic demolition to make way for meaningful upgrades, including the construction of a new stage and a fully refreshed worship space designed to inspire connection and community.

The former pool area has been removed and replaced with an open-concept exterior space, creating more opportunities for gathering and flow. New walkways have also been added to improve accessibility and enhance the overall site experience.

Renovations to the cafeteria are currently underway, all part of a broader vision to elevate functionality while creating a fresh, inviting environment for the congregation.
