It's Our Goal to Build a Partnership - Not Just a Project.
‘Small enough to know you, but large enough to serve you’. Sound cliché? Perhaps, but it’s true. DCI is making the same investments in tools, techniques and technology as our larger competitors. But, we’re intentionally smaller so we can better serve our clients. And because we’re smaller, you’re not getting punted from project manager to project manger. The key members of our firm remain involved in your project from conceptual discussion through construction and beyond.
Step 1: Meetings
We know, always a favorite. But unfortunately, meetings are necessary. We need to spend time learning about your business and your culture. And, we want to understand what you hope to accomplish by renovating your existing space, adding on or building new. Only then can we make solid recommendations for the next steps.
Step 2: Build a Team
We need to build a team before we can build a project. By doing so, we can help select the civil, structural and MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) engineers, plus determine the best architectural and design partners for your project.
Step 3: Design
Now that we have our team in place, it’s time to turn the dreams and napkin sketches into a reality. This is when we obtain all the approvals. During this step, we’ll work with you to select design build MEP contractors or have these scopes designed and engineered separately. We also perform a few budget exercises to make sure your amazing ideas fit the always important budget.
Step 4: Construct
At this point, we’ve received final subcontractor bids, executed final contracts, and you’ve posted the groundbreaking photos on your social media. Now, we’re off and you get to see what’s on paper come to life. You can access our software, allowing you to follow construction schedules, view site photos, and monitor progress. We’ll also work closely with your lender, sending them required monthly billing and waiver documentation.
We’re involved with a client or their project long before construction begins. From selecting a design team to identifying property for your new facility, we love helping you navigate even the earliest stages of the project.
As the construction manager, we provide expert project management from both our office as well as on-site. We have the right staff to guarantee a project is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
